Exit Planning

Trusted advice and support ensures a successful business exit – it all starts with our Business Exit Review

Business Exit Review

We specialise in helping business owners plan and smoothly execute their exit strategy. It all begins with our Business Exit Review—a comprehensive program designed to help you understand your business’s true value, explore exit options, and prepare for a successful transition.

Our Program

Our program covers all the important steps, including:



Exit Timing

Identify the best time to sell your business.



Valuation

Gain clarity on what your business is really worth.



Market Analysis

Understand market demand and potential buyers.



SWOT Analysis

Pinpoint strengths to maximise and areas needing improvement to boost value



Legal & Financial Compliance

Ensure your business is in top shape to attract buyers and maximise its worth.



Exit Strategies

Explore different options, such as outright trade sale, management buyout, or private equity, and weigh up the pros and cons of each.

By answering key questions like “How much is my business worth?” and “What improvements will boost its value?”, we’ll help you focus on what truly matters. This way, you’ll avoid any pitfalls and make informed decisions to achieve the best possible outcome.

 Why Early Exit Planning Matters

Whether you’re thinking about retirement, a new challenge, or just a change of pace, an exit is often a long-considered decision. Many owners have late-night reflections or spend years mulling over the idea. The secret to a successful exit is early and thoughtful planning. If you want to leave your business at the right time and at the right price, you’ll need to take control of the process as early as possible.

No matter your reasons or the path you choose, having trusted advice and support ensures you’ll exit your business confidently and without regrets.

Maximise Value

Understand your market, what are the key trends, who are the likely buyers, what’s driving value, when is the right time.

Tax Efficiencies

Make sure you benefit from all available tax reliefs offered by HMRC

Preferred Exit Option

Make informed decisions on which is the best exit to pursue to deliver your objectives as a team.

Comprehensive Assessment

Identify and implement necessary structural, operational and financial changes well in advance.

Market Timing

Ensure you enter the market when conditions are most favourable.
