The hunt for the winners of this years West Oxfordshire Business Awards has started. These annual awards showcase all that is best in business and entrepreneurship in West Oxfordshire, covering 12 categories, such as Retail Award, Innovation Award, Employer of the Year Award. The full list can be found on the WOBA 2016 site. This year The MGroup are proud to sponsor the Employer of the Year Award. This is open to any business, of any size or industry sector, trading in West Oxfordshire. To win this award a business will have to demonstrate that it is a great place to work. The evidence of this can be shown by:
- An open, inclusive culture;
- Leadership and management;
- Staff training, development, retention and recruitment;
- Innovative working environment and staff facilities;
- Encouraging young people into the business.
Entries are now open and close at midnight on Monday 30th November. There is no entry fee. The WOBA 2016 Launch Event was held at Eynsham Hall on Friday 25th September. It was a unique opportunity to meet fellow business owners, past winners and finalists as well as sponsors and organisers.
